Local Services Ads are changing fast. Missed calls became billable on October 1, and LSA is moving into Google Ads as Performance Max. I audit your LSA and Search together, show you what each lead really costs, and tell you where your budget should go. No pitch. You keep the report.
Takes 24-48 hours. You keep the report regardless.
LSA used to be the channel you could set up and leave. This year the billing, the platform and the credit rules all changed, and each one can quietly raise what you pay per real customer.
From Google's Local Services Help and Google Ads Help pages on lead credits, how leads work and the Performance Max transition, checked September 2026.
Every audit looks at LSA and your Search campaigns together, because the right budget split depends on what each one costs per booked job.
Whether your posted hours match when someone actually answers. Since missed calls can now be charged, every gap between the two is money spent on calls nobody picks up.
Whether your categories, job types and service areas match the work you want. Google no longer credits leads for jobs or areas you don't serve, so the settings are now the only protection.
What a booked job really costs from LSA and from Search, side by side, and whether budget should move between them. A charged lead isn't a customer until someone books.
Whether your LSA history is exported before the move to Performance Max, how budgets and targets will carry over, and whether your reporting still makes sense after the switch.
I keep it simple on purpose. The point is for you to understand what I found, not to sit through a 60-minute presentation.
You grant read-only access to your Google Ads account. Takes about two minutes. I can't make changes or see billing details. Just the campaign data.
2 minutesI review your LSA settings, leads and charges alongside your Search campaigns, and compare what each costs. You get a complete written report, not a slide deck with screenshots.
24-48 hoursI walk you through the findings on a call. If the numbers don't justify hiring me, I'll tell you that. You keep the report either way.
Your callCleaning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other home service companies with an active LSA profile, who want to know what each lead really costs and where the budget should go.
Owner-run companies relying on LSA for a big share of their calls.
Companies running LSA across several markets, where settings and budgets drift apart.
A multi-location residential cleaning company running LSA and Search.
Dec 2025 to Feb 2026 compared with Mar to May 2026. Lead counts aren't compared because I cleaned up the conversion tracking in March.
Yes. No credit card, no trial, no catch. I pull your account data, build the report, and walk you through it at no cost. If you want to work together after that, we can talk about it. If not, you keep the report.
Since October 1, 2026, a missed call during your posted business hours can be charged as a lead if the caller stays on the line more than 20 seconds, even if nobody answers. The fix is making your posted hours match when someone is actually there to pick up.
Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads as Performance Max for pay-per-lead goals, account by account through 2027. Your ads still show on Search and Maps and you still pay per lead, but you manage everything in Google Ads, and your old LSA reports don't carry over, so export them first.
Google now reviews charged leads and credits many low-quality ones automatically, usually within 30 days, and you can flag a lead through its feedback survey. It no longer credits leads for job types or areas you don't serve, so tight settings matter more than ever.
Usually both, judged on what a booked job costs from each. LSA often starts out cheaper, but a well-built Search campaign can beat it, and when it does, the budget should follow.
That's fine and more common than you'd think. The audit is independent of whoever is managing your account. You'll get an honest read on what's working and what isn't. What you do with that information is completely up to you.
Read-only access to your Google Ads account. That means you add me as a read-only user. I can see your campaign data but cannot make changes, see your billing, or access anything outside of Google Ads. Takes about two minutes to set up. I'll send instructions when you submit the form.
Takes 2 minutes to request. Report delivered in 24-48 hours. No cost, no commitment.
No long-term contracts. I work month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime.
